My elder daughter

My Elder Daughter  The one who wants to see me extremely happy 24/7, The one who finds out even the most talented hidden moisture in my eyes, The one who bears with my mood swings and insulting remarks, The one who thinks of how to make me contented, The one to whom I open the dark chambers of life, The detective who finds out my hidden emotions, The one who cries her heart out if I chose not to talk, The one who is not satisfied with 100 hugs a day, The one who is sometimes my bosom friend, The one who writes and reads like me, The love in her heart makes me feel being loved, The love in her heart kept me alive in the hardest times of life, What else to say, her name in my phone is "My breath" which is true in all sense ❤️
"Your people murdered my people. So, I will kill yours". "Alright! Who are your people"? "My people belong to my religion". "What is religion"? "My religion is my God". "Does God ask you to kill? 'No". "Then why"? "I will do anything for God". "Do you pray? "No". "Do you go for worship?  "No". "Do you follow what z said by God"? "No, but I will even kill for God. If God appears n asks I will stop killing". "But, yesterday, you killed God by mistake  While he was requesting to stop murder                                                                  By  Jisha

Limbo...

LIMBO Why don't I get a break from limbo? Why can't limbo give way for life? Life is when you are worth living it!!! Life is when you are worth living it!!! The day kills the boredom of night, The sun shines when the moon fades, The summer whistles after winter, The rain drenches the sun kissed ground, Merriment gives way for grieves, Then, Why don't I get a break from limbo! I dream of saying toodles to life too! The trials and tribulations of life, Tempts me to embrace slumber! Drinking the nectar of forgetfulness, I crave for a slumber inside a lotus, To wake up to the sizzling sunshine, Holding the reins of my pshyche. I want a break from limbo and life! Life is when you are worth living it! (JCJ)

My Pet and the Bribe.

Image
I don't precisely remember from where did I get him! When I named him Hippy he came running towards me with his tail wagging as if he liked to be called so. The lonesome room which had just the company of my old clock with its jarring sound filled with laughter and his pranks tickling my funny bones. Whenever I tried to pen or scribble something on my school book Hippy would come stealthily aiming my pen possessing the vigor of a cougar that is going to pounce on its prey. The mere sight of his ogle would break me into a spasm of laugh. I would reach the utmost stage of an impulse to giggle when I spot him swaying on the curtain back and forth. Nothing could push him to the valley of lonesomeness as whatever he touched was lovelier than a toy for him. In the interim, it's a daunting task for a human to find himself contented and occupied with his spree of interest. He was the happiest kitten I had ever seen... My inexperienced countryside life along with my age made...

Velu, the flutist

Image
It was a dreary Saturday afternoon and it triggered the whim of all the hostelites for a stroll. But we could do it only unbeknown to our hostel warden whose rigid monastery life hampered her from supporting the lifestyle of youngsters. Then, a question emerged was  with regard to the location! I always preferred random unplanned locations over the planned ones as the former always surprised us with their element of novelty. Eventually, we came to a covenant to go somewhere nearby as it’s already late for a venture to a remote place.  Our compulsive desire got bloomed when the permission was granted with the help of the pack of lies that we had spread in front of the warden. If anyone had any desire to be truthful throughout life, it would get vanished or at least get diminished in the presence of our warden Ms. Preskilla as she denied all the genuine requests. Gradually everyone learned the tactics to bring her in line.  When we reached the college yard it was ...

The Boxes

Image
I was so curious about the thin rectangular black box which my dadda carried with him every now and then. I noticed him with parted lips talking over it at times politely, sometimes harsh, and on the other times with so much love and happiness. I got confused recoking why is he chatting with a box and why is he feeling ire with it while it is always being silent! It was seen quite invariably. My mamma also had a box with an amber colour. Shortly afterwards, I came to a conviction that it's something very significant or some indispensable part of life.  Later on, I clocked an opportunity to touch it with my bare hands. I felt it as heavy in my little hands despite of its thin appearance. Just like my parents, I held it with one hand and drew lines here and there with the tip of my tiny fingers. To my dismay, I saw variagated hues sparkling over it with a vibration. Suddenly my mama snatched it from my hands. I was heartbroken and started whining. My shrill voice pierced ...

Mydala Lake

Image
It’s nothing short of an alluring place where one can vent all the stress out. Never have I seen a lake unfenced so far in my life in Bengaluru, until my eyes could feast on the Mydala lake which is around 65 kilometres away from the city. The mesmerising arena is a blend of three magnificent sights: the sunset, the giant boulders and the pale blue coloured lake. The gentle breeze curls up above the water- spread and the foreshore areas. It was around five o’clock in the evening when I reached the Mydala lake with my bubbly gang. The vehicles could reach so close to the lakeside that only a few steps could make it . Even though the lakefront was not sandy, the rocky shore substituted it so well that we could sit and relax without getting anxious of getting muddy on all over our outfit. The breezy air that emerged from the far away hills fondled us top to toe. After playing in the water and skimming stones awhile, we withdrew to the area of rocky land with giant ...

Dancing Doll

It was the constant rings from my friend who lived miles away in native that woke me up from my slumber. My eyes that were half opened and unwilling to greet the morning rays checked the time. It was 07.30 in the morning. In my life schedule that was the wee hours of the day as I was a night owl. My roomies who could not tolerate even the subtle entrance of hunger had gone to fill their tummies except Angel as she always used to follow her own routines. I answered the call tediously as the sleep still lingered over my head. But the response literarily shattered me to the abyss… I couldn’t wipe it out from my ears even after the passage of the very eighteen years. "Maggy, your brother!!!! Your brother!!!” As she couldn’t bear the heaviness of her heart she disconnected the call. I dread to think of it even after the passage of a couple of lustrums. My heart was in my mouth…my eyes got wide opened…If there was even a tinge of sleep it was propelled at the blink of an eye...

Hailstones

Image
Hailstones I wait for that day of downpour,    When hailstones shower from the sky. I relish keeping them on my palms, Enduing merrily the icy cold. I scan its melting process, Getting thinner and thinner bit by bit... Oozing cold water to sip..... Its splendor outshining the - Refrigerated ice cubes. But the fleeting pleasure, Of the melting hailstones! My psyche persist in coaxing me, To seek something worthful, Creating a perennial appeal, In the transitory moments of life, To leave behind when we melt down.
