Never have I seen a lake unfenced so far in my life in Bengaluru, until my eyes could feast on the Mydala lake which is around 65 kilometres away from the city. The mesmerising arena is a blend of three magnificent sights: the sunset, the giant boulders and the pale blue coloured lake. My Pet and the Bribe.

I don't precisely remember from where did I get him! When I named him Hippy he came running towards me with his tail wagging as if he liked to be called so. The lonesome room which had just the company of my old clock with its jarring sound filled with laughter and his pranks tickling my funny bones. Whenever I tried to pen or scribble something on my school book Hippy would come stealthily aiming my pen possessing the vigor of a cougar that is going to pounce on its prey. The mere sight of his ogle would break me into a spasm of laugh. I would reach the utmost stage of an impulse to giggle when I spot him swaying on the curtain back and forth. Nothing could push him to the valley of lonesomeness as whatever he touched was lovelier than a toy for him.
