Limbo

I want a break from life!

Just like there is a day after each night,
Just like there is a sun after the moon,
Just like there is summer after winter,
Just like rain give way for sunny days,
Just like happiness give way for grief,

I want a break from life-
Just to return to it the next day.
When my mind is fed up of -
The trials and tribulations of life,
I want a break from life.

I want to drink the nectar of forgetfulness,
I want to go for a slumber inside a lotus,
Just to wake up to the sunshine.
I want to hold the reins of my mind,
I want to divert it wherever I want.
I want a break from life 
I don't want to embrace death
But I want to live in limbo.....

Mydala Lake

It’s nothing short of an alluring place where one can vent all the stress out. Never have I seen a lake unfenced so far in my life in Bengaluru, until my eyes could feast on the Mydala lake which is around 65 kilometres away from the city. The mesmerising arena is a blend of three magnificent sights: the sunset, the giant boulders and the pale blue coloured lake. The gentle breeze curls up above the water- spread and the foreshore areas. It was around five o’clock in the evening when I reached the Mydala lake with my bubbly gang. The vehicles could reach so close to the lakeside that only a few steps could make it . Even though the lakefront was not sandy, the rocky shore substituted it so well that we could sit and relax without getting anxious of getting muddy on all over our outfit. My Pet and the Bribe.

I don't precisely remember from where did I get him! When I named him Hippy he came running towards me with his tail wagging as if he liked to be called so. The lonesome room which had just the company of my old clock with its jarring sound filled with laughter and his pranks tickling my funny bones. Whenever I tried to pen or scribble something on my school book Hippy would come stealthily aiming my pen possessing the vigor of a cougar that is going to pounce on its prey. The mere sight of his ogle would break me into a spasm of laugh. I would reach the utmost stage of an impulse to giggle when I spot him swaying on the curtain back and forth. Nothing could push him to the valley of lonesomeness as whatever he touched was lovelier than a toy for him. In the interim, it's a daunting task for a human to find himself contented and occupied with his spree of interest. He was the happiest kitten I had ever seen...
